From honing your leadership skills to applying for grant funding, we’ve got you covered.
In September, Bob Friedrich will teach you the essentials of putting together a successful proposal to key funding organizations to get you the resources you need to make things happen in your community, organization, or neighborhood. If you’ve ever wondered how to persuasively approach governments about your organization’s work, Tina Beaudry-Mellor will help you with advocacy skills in October. Cara Bradley, Teaching and Learning Librarian, will teach you to find high-quality information, deal with copyright, track information resources, and keep up with new research relevant to your organization. Finally, you can learn practical leadership skills from Sean Tucker in December.
All workshops run from 8:30 am -12:00 pm at the College Building, 2155 College Avenue. Registration rates are $25 regular and $15 student or low-income, and $5 parking passes are available. Join us for one, or all four!
